Craft ideas that float away...

When you feel the need to do a certain craft but you can't find supplies you need or you have to do something else - like go to work - what do you do? I mean, I feel like I lose about a million craft ideas a week this way... okay maybe just 10 or so, lol. I'm trying to start a master list of crafty ideas to remember to do, guess I have to remember to do that huh?
