Kids are off school, working on some cards

My girls are off school again today, seems like a lot of days off lately. This is a day for the teacher's workshop, but I looking forward to some quiet time tomorrow to get some writing done. Today I decided to have lunch with my older Girl Scout Troop and before I get started looking for the information I need for them, I wanted to get these cards that I made last week up online. Here is a picture of the sketch I used, and click here for the link. Soon, (before lunch I hope!) I'll have the three card examples there too.

Make These Beaded Open Heart Earrings in Copper

These were wonderful charms to work with, I have a bracelet made too that I’ll be putting up online soon. I got them at Fire Mountain Gems, which I love shopping there. The store has really grown. Of course my favorite place to shop is a bead show, but I haven’t been in a while… I can dream though…

Copper is so trendy right now, perfect for love and Valentine’s day.
Click here for the instructions to make this pair of beaded heart earrings.

If your looking for more Valentine's Day projects, I put up a page of mine right here. I have a few new ones that need to go on the site this week, I got carried away making them instead of coding the pages :O Check back this coming week if you need more ideas.

New Card Sketch with 3 Finished Cards

Check out the new card sketch and the three finished cards... they were super simple to put together. I have to say this is one of my easiest sketches to do and it makes wonderful cards. I also like doing the cards up as I put up the card sketch, so look for me to fill in a few of the sketches I have now with cards.

Do you have a goal for how many cards you are going to make this year? I would really like to make most of my Birthday cards this year and not have to buy any. That's my goal anyway ;)

Yes, after a long Christmas break my daughters were treated to one more day at home because of another snow storm! Ugh!! They are tired of being here and miss their friends. We'll see if the tune changes tomorrow at 6am when they need to get up and get ready ;)
