How to make metal letter charms using Paint Shop Pro 9, PSP9 for digital scrapbooking. scrapbooking">
1.) New image, settings at:
-
Width: 400 pixels
Height: 400 pixels
Resolution 200 dpi
Raster background
16 million color depth
Transparent
2.) Type in some fat text with the foreground and background at #c0c0c0, floating.
3.) Select none.
4.) Using the ellipse tool, width set a 10 and the background color set to transparent, draw an open circle.
5.) Select the open circle with the magic wand. Edit/Cut, then Paste it for every letter you have, placing it at the top of your letter to make a charm.
6.) Be sure nothing is selected and merge/visible your layers.
7.) Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel using the numbers shown below.
8.) Save as a png file.
