Digital Scrapbooking with PSP9PSP9 Tutorial: Make Element Cut Outs
![]() Using Preset Shapes Set your foreground to black and your background to white. Create a shape that your wish to cut out of, a large circle or rounded square. Fill in with black. Using the preset shape, choose one and draw it in white on your shape.
![]() Using the magic wand, select your shape.
![]() Edit-> cut. Selections -> select none. Save this as a png file and use as many times as you want by filling in with your papers. Using Fonts The main difference with fonts is that PSP tends to make a new layer until you deselect the font. So follow above but you'll need to deselect the font and then reselect it with the magic wand. Set your font to 'Floating'. I love to use this to make borders for layouts and cards. ![]() All digital scrapbooking articles, tutorials and the monthly freebie are found here.
