Christmas Pearls Necklace

This pretty Christmas necklace measures 17-1/2". The garnet and the peridot add the holiday look to the classic fresh water pearl beaded necklace.

You'll need these supplies:

• Clasp - gold tone barrel clasp
• Beading wire (thinner is better with pearls)
• 2 gold crimp beads
• 55-60 - 5mm fresh water pearls
• 10 - 4mm garnet rounds
• 20 - 2-3mm peridot buttons
• 42 - 2mm gold spacers or size 10 gold seed beads

You'll need these tools:

• Crimping plyers
• Bent nose or chain nose plyers

1.) Cut 21" of beading wire and attach one end to one end of the barrel clasp with a crimp bead. Trim tail to 1/4" and hide tail under beads.

2.) Bead: one gold spacer, 5 fresh water pearls, one gold spacer, one peridot button, one gold spacer, one garnet round, one gold spacer, and one peridot button. Repeat nine more times. End with one gold spacer, five fresh water pearls and one gold spacer.

3.) Crimp your end to the clasp. Bring the wire back through two beads and trim. Enjoy!
