Make a Bead Drop

These bead drops are very useful when making pendants or earrings using wire wrapping techniques.

You'll need these supplies:

• wire, at least 20 guage thick
• beads

You'll need these tools:

• hammer
• steel plate or anvil
• Bent nose or chain nose plyers
• round nose pliers
• file

1.) Cut the length of the wire that you need, be sure to include enough to loop and wrap at the end.

2.) Hammer the edge flat on the steel plate or anvil. If doing more than one, hammer them all one right after the other. This will ensure that you flatten about the same amount on each wire.

3.) File the flattened edge. Round it off so that there are no rough edges.
