How to Connect Bead Links
This is a basic wire technique for putting beads on wire to make bead links for jewelry pieces. If you are just learning to do this, use inexpensive wire to practice on.
You'll need these supplies:
- wire
- beads that fit on the wire
You'll need these tools:
- Bent nose or chain nose plyers
- round nose pliers
- file
1.) Make your bead link. Begin making your second link, but do not wrap the first loop.
2.) Place the loop through a loop on the first bead link.
3.) Place it back on the round nose pliers, then finishing wrapping it.
4.) Bead the second wire. Loop and wrap to finish it off. You can conitnue this way until you have the whole project done.
