Halloween Candy Corn Beaded Earrings

Using some glass lampwork candy corn beads with matching glass beads and some silver, you can make these artzy Halloween wire wrapped beaded earrings in about 30 minutes. The technique is simple, but practice it first using cheaper copper wire. Once you've done it once, you'll be a pro.

You'll need these supplies:

  • 2 ear wires
  • 2 headpins
  • 2 - Halloween candy corn lampwork beads
  • 2 - 6mm orange glass round beads
  • 2 - 6mm yellow glass coin beads
  • 2 - 4mm seamless silver round beads
  • 6 inches of 22 gauge silver wire; cut into two 3-inch pieces

You'll need these tools:

  • wire cutters; flush cutters
  • Round nose pliers
  • Bent nose or chain nose plyers

You are going to make a fancy bead link with the coin bead by wire wrapping it.

Centering the bead on the 3-inch piece of wire, Loop an eye and wrap it around almost once. Bring it down in front of the coin bead and wrap it twice.

Repeat the above for the other side of the coin bead. trim the wire ends.

Using the head pin, bead: one 4mm silver round, lampwork bead - candy corn, glass orange round. Loop the top and attach to the wrapped coin bead before finishing the wire wrap. Attach to the earwires.
