Wire Wrapped Beaded Jewelry
Cracklin' Beaded Heart Earrings

Deep red primative hearts in crackle glass - how could I resist doing something with these beautiful beads and wire? I had to do a beaded heart pendant too! Wonderful glass beads that don't bust the bank.

Simply lovely.

You'll need these supplies:

  • 2 ear wires
  • 2 15mm red crackle glass hearts
  • 6 inches sterling silver 22 gauge wire; cut into two 3-inch pieces

You'll need these tools:

  • wire cutters; flush cutters
  • Round nose pliers
  • Bent nose or chain nose plyers

For each earring:
  1. You need to make a head pin out of the end of one wire. Put your bead on the wire.
  2. Loop and wrap leaving enough room on the wire at the bottom of the bead to wrap twice.

  3. Bring the wire in front of the bead and loop at the bottom.

  4. Attach to the earwire.
  5. Repeat for the send earring.
