You'll need:

• Jar lid or heavy cardboard piece
• Piece of paper crumbled into a ball; white or natural color
• Found nature items: acorns, pine cones, pine needles, stones, etc.
• Hot glue or tacky glue
• metallic paint(optional)

1. Glue small stones to the lip of the lid, allow to dry a bit.
2. Glue the ball of paper to the insde of the lid.
3. Glue items from nature around the paper ball, overlapping some. Use your creativity.
4. Continue to glue the items until the entire paper ball is covered. Allow to dry fully.

Variation: Using metallic spray paint, spray the statue gold, silver or bronze.
