3 Layouts - 1 Great Kit

I really enjoy getting kits and diving into my picture box (the one that is NOT organized). It allows me to be creative, get some scrapbooking done and I don’t have to go looking for anything- it’s all in the kit. The kit I used this week was a collection put together by Doodlebug called the Love Spell Collection. (find it at Scrapbook.com or Lifetime Moments.com or try a search on Google) While I know this was a Valentine kit, I loved using it for my daughter’s pictures instead. Here are the three layouts, click here to get tips for each layout: Baby’s Little Feet, Baby’s First Week and Easter Egg Hunt. You'll also find links to the scrapbooking sketches used on each page.

Scrapbooking Layout - School Days Pocket Page

For a fun paper scrapping project I put together this pocket page scrapbooking layout that works very well with standard school picture sizes and class picture sizes. Below you can see the sketch I used and you can click here or the title for directions on how to put this page together.

Kids are off school, working on some cards

My girls are off school again today, seems like a lot of days off lately. This is a day for the teacher's workshop, but I looking forward to some quiet time tomorrow to get some writing done. Today I decided to have lunch with my older Girl Scout Troop and before I get started looking for the information I need for them, I wanted to get these cards that I made last week up online. Here is a picture of the sketch I used, and click here for the link. Soon, (before lunch I hope!) I'll have the three card examples there too.

New Card Sketch with 3 Finished Cards

Check out the new card sketch and the three finished cards... they were super simple to put together. I have to say this is one of my easiest sketches to do and it makes wonderful cards. I also like doing the cards up as I put up the card sketch, so look for me to fill in a few of the sketches I have now with cards.

Do you have a goal for how many cards you are going to make this year? I would really like to make most of my Birthday cards this year and not have to buy any. That's my goal anyway ;)
