Heritage Memory Titles for Scrapbooking

I make my mother an album of our vacation every year with her grandchildren highlighted. This year it will be a little harder as not all of the kids came on vacation :( So, I think I will start her 12x12 album - the one I do is usually 6X6. I need to do her a 12X12 that I can add to as I have a some pictures just dying to go into pages for her. Some of them are heritage, so here are a few old fashioned titles I dug up:
  • Treasured Memories
  • Family Ties
  • Way Back When
  • In the Good Ol' Days
  • Blessed be the ties that bind

Scrapbooking Tips: Organizing Photos to Scrapbook

You'll need a shoe box, index cards and zip quart size baggies. Go through the pictures separating them by layout. Place one layout set of pictures in each baggie with an index card that has the date, the event, and some tidbits of information about it. When you are ready to scrapbook, grab a baggie and go! Be sure to keep baggies you have emptied in your shoe box for re-use.

Tips for Scrapbooking Back to School Layouts

There is a mound of things you can scrapbook for back to school for kids of all ages. Here are just a few tips for these types of scrapbooking layouts:
  1. Get a picture of what they wore to school the first day.
  2. Scan in this year's class schedule, print it out on acid free cardstock.
  3. Get a quote from your child answering this qustion: 'Why I'm looking forward to ________ grade."
  4. Save letters from the teachers in a pocket page.
  5. Scrapbook the class list.
  6. Important information for these pages: teacher and class names, the book lists(high school), school name and address.
  7. Where is their locker, scrap a pic of your teen at their locker. Use a school hallway map to point to where it is located.
  8. Cool character lunch box? Get a picture and scrap what your child's favorite lunch is.
Have any more ideas? Leave them as comments!
