5 Most Embarrassing Moments
I think this would make a great Book of Me page, so I’m brain storming. (in public)
1.) When I was little, maybe 4 years-old, I was stung by a bee on my butt. My father had a hard time getting the stinger out, so he used a mud mixture, from our front garden - where my butt was bare for all to see.
2.) In third grade when my nose was running and I didn’t have a tissue. I kept wiping it on my sleeve, the teacher caught me – where was she with the tissue when I was doing all of the sniffling?! – and yelled, in front of everyone.
3.) When my crush thought my new haircut was ugly and said so. Out loud in front of my 7th grade science class. I’m so glad that I now know how much of an idiot he was, but I still remember that moment, ugh!
4.) The first time I had ever had shrimp, I ate the tail and all. Of course this was at a really posh meal after the prom with my peers…
5.) When I had my first child. A lab tech was taking my blood and asked me if I wanted a cartoon band aid. It was at that very moment I realized I was nude from the waist down and there were tons of people in the room. I wanted to crawl under a rock… but then the next contraction hit and I forgot about it!

Paint Shop Pro Tuts - 2 new ones!
I'm beginning to enjoy making these tutorials for my Paint shop Pro. I've owned the program since #4, and #11 was recently announced. So making things with it and putting it up on the site is about all I have to do with the program since it's not my job or anything. Therefore, I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoy making them!

Paint Shop Pro Tut - Making Stripe and Plaid Paper
A friend on Digital Scrapbook Place asked how I make my plaid papers, so I wrote up this tut for her - and anyone else who wants it ;-)
I am thankful for friends who give me inspiration!

Three things I'd gladly give to charity
Today's blog prompt from Digital Scrapbook Place is naming three things I'd give to charity - which got me thinking about the three things I'd love to give to charity:
- 80% of my teen daughter's clothes
- 95% of my 10 yo daughter's make and keep craft items
- and do they take 4 yo girls?
Just kidding, it's been a day... I have a bag ready to go of clothes we've grown out of and it is time to fill a bag for the food bank - bag came with our newspaper, pretty cool reminder. The third thing is my time, I donate quite a bit of it to my girl scout troop - this donating is allowed to be fun, right?

5 Things I've Accomplished this Week
I’m actually pretty proud of my accomplishments this week. There was one big one and one really BIG one! The big one was getting the freebie kit done, posted and the reminders out. I wasn’t sure if the reminders were going to work with my email client, but they did – whew… The REALLY BIG one was getting my craft/personal site listed with Yahoo! I was worried that one of their eds would be all over it and say it wasn’t good enough for a listing… but nope, it’s in! Three other things I did:
1.) encourage my teen daughter to play well at basketball open gym in front of her new coaches without pushing or prodding her
2.) got two newsletters out for parenting teens site – I don’t always have the time for the second
3.) Finished the new Nora Roberts series.
Hmmmm… I’m thinking I should be more tired, lol.

CK Mag Submission Call - Bring on the Rain
Due Nov. 13. Email a scan for spring rain effects ;-)
Check out what they are looking for: Find your favorite “rainy day” photos, then get ready to scrap! Layouts (or projects) can be one or two pages--just make sure they have a clever idea that adds a touch of “spring rain” to the page, whether it’s a new take on paper-pieced designs or a cool “rain” effect made from chalk or dimensional glaze. From simple to intermediate techniques, we’d love to see what you “dew” with this spring theme!
