Eating Out Blog Prompt

Here is the weekend blog prompt from DSP: Do you get the usual each time? do you sample food from your friend's plate? are you adventurous? and most importantly, do you save room for dessert?

First and foremost, I never leave room for dessert. I like food too much, lol. Dessert is something I like to have in the afternoons with a cup of coffee or herbal tea. When I eat out, I love to have seafood and if it is a buffet of many different foods, all the better. If i ate out more, I'd probably be 800 pounds - not kidding. It is really a good thing that I like to eat veggies as much as I like to eat unhealthy food, or I'd have a real problem ;-)

I like trying new foods as long as they aren't gross foods, like body parts of animals. Monkey's brains is something I will not ever try in this lifetime - and I'm really okay with that. But trying new fruits and veggies is fun.

Do you like to get dressed up?

DSP Blog Prompt: Do you like to get dressed up? Why/why not? When's the last time you had a chance to dress formally?

I love getting dressed up and the last time was at a Christmas party for the Rotary Club that my hubby belongs to. The dinner was really very good and the company was great. We are new to the area and really enjoyed meeting some new people.

I'm wondering, how do you all get people to take pics of you for yoru book of me scrapbook? I was just thinking while writing this that it would have been nice to have a pic, but since I take all of the pictures I don't have one... any tips??

In my dreams...

Today's DSP Blog Prompt:
Share your dreams, literally or figuratively:

I've been spending my time dreaming about my new house. We are going to break ground in the spring, and I just keep day dreaming all about each and every room, what colors or cabinets or ??? I just cannot wait to see it - although I can picture it perfectly in my mind.

I also daydream about Disney - I just love that place!

Kindness of Strangers

Digital Scrapbook Place blog prompt:
Describe a time when you have benefitted from the kindness of a stranger.

Another college story: On our way to NJ, my roomates and I got stuck in a traffic jam - major jam near NY City. then my room mate's car dies - in the fast lane... not that crawling inch-by-inch was fast. We just liked being in the fast lane of this four lane highway. EEK! At the time, having a cell phone meant having huge antenias on your car. (yes, it was a lonnnggg time ago!) Thank goodness an older gentlemen with the antenias stopped and let us use his phone.

You know, I never really thought much about that until now. He didn't have to stop for us - although he couldn't really speed by in traffic, could he? I think God places who you need around you when you need them most.

Paint Shop Pro Tutorial: Make Gold Photo Corners

I really ended up liking these and used them with a layout for a friend's wedding album. I hope you like making them! And if those who are asking, yes! I love using psp for digital scrapbooking.

Sleeping Style... hmmm...

Blog Prompt: Describe your sleeping style.

I sleep, very well. So well, in fact, that in college a friend and his friend came to visit me in my dorm room and I was asleep. They managed to take my loft apart from under me and I just kept on sleeping. I never heard or felt anything... which I'm sure will get me into trouble one day. Thank goodness hubby will wake up at the drop of a hat. We need someone to take care of the kids at night, lol! Although being a mom is amazing. When my girls were born I was a light sleeper for the first year. Then back to sleeping like a rock.

I also snore, but so does the hubby. So, we are pretty even there!
