Favorite Outfits?
My favorite outfit right now is anything I wear with my new LL Bean Jean Jacket. It’s an indoor wear jacket that really completes my jeans and funky top outfits. I wear these regularly “at work” since I write from home. The jacket is mostly worn though when I go out, cuz it looks good and I’ve gotten many compliments on it.
My favorite outfit 10 years ago – geez, I was 30 – was nothing I can remember. I think I’ve just lately gotten into what clothes I really like. Not the hot fashion type of person. I know at 30 I was just starting up my About.com site and had just had Gigi, my second daughter. I can remember the cutest little ladybug outfit I bought her.

How do you like to travel?

I like to listen to an audio book because I can’t read in the car, always had terrible motion sickness. I still take something for it when the ride is going to be more than an hour. Being the driver helps too, but not always. I like flying because you get there so much quicker. I’m not sure about by boat, never traveled that way.
The best thing is to daydream and make life lists of things you want to do before you’re too old to do them.

My mom enjoys when I put together a scrapbook for her. So does my father-in-law. It is a wonderful way to show someone you care! Try one of our abc lists for inspiration.
