Valentine's Day Crafts Heart Bouquet Craft
What a cute bouquet that your child can do for a center peice. Again, I have to thank my daughter's teacher for this one, it's lovely.
 
You'll need:
- Soup can, cleaned
- Tissue paper; valentine colors
- 4 pipe cleaners, valentines colors
- Construction paper, red, white, pink
- Paint, red
- Makers, crayons, colored pencils
- Scissors
- Scotch tape
- Paper plate
- Ball of clay or play dough
Instructions:
- Cut out four hearts, print I Love You on three separate hearts.
- Put a dap of red paint on a paper plate. Have the child dip their thumbprint in the red paint. Then have him/her make his/her print on the forth heart.
- Cut a piece of white construction paper to cover the can.
- Print "Thumb-ody loves you!' on it. Have the child place his/her thumb prints on it. us glue to cover the can with the paper after the thumb prints have dried.
- Tape the hearts onto the pipe cleaners.
- Put the tissue paper inside the can with ends sticking out for a nice effect.
- Stick the ends of the pipe cleaners into the ball of clay so that it reads "I love you".
- Place the ball of clay in the bottom of the can.
