Ingredients:
2 tbsp margarine
1 sm onion; chopped
1 clove garlic; minced
1 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 tsp tarragon
1 cup blanched whole almonds
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp soy sauce
1 dash white pepper
2 tbsp cream cheese
Instructions:
In a large skillet, melt margarine. Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Saute until tender but not browned.
Add tarragon. Stir until it is softened.
In a food processor, add contents of skillet and all of the ingredients.
Process until mixture is smooth.
Garnish with finely chopped almonds and serve on thick slices of crusty French bread.
