Barbecue Recipes Grilled Honeydew Melon and Cantaloupe Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients:
- skewers
- 1/2 honeydew; chunked 2 inch cubes
- 1/2 cantaloupe; chunked 2 inch cubes
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar or Splenda
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced or dry
Instructions:
- Stir together the last three ingredients to make your marinate mixture.
- Coat all melon and cantaloupe chunks and let them sit for no longer then ten minutes.
- Thread the chunks on the skewers, alternating between cantaloupe and honeydew. Grill high heat for 30-seconds for each quarter turn. They are finished when melon is soft.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
