Crockpot Recipes Crock Pot Arroz Con Queso Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups long-grain raw rice; converted rice
- 1 cup Whole tomatoes; mashed
- 1 cup Mexican style beans
- 3 Garlic cloves; minced
- 1 Onion; large; finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 1 cup Cottage cheese
- 1 cup Green chili peppers; drained
- 2 cups Montery Jack cheese; grated, divided
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients except 1 cup of the grated cheese into well-greased crock-pot.
- Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 9 hours.
- Sprinkle with reserved grated cheese just before serving or place the heese on the table for
- self-serving.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
