Crock Pot Raisin Bread Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices bread, cubed
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cps milk
  • 1/4 cp sugar
  • 1/4 cp butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cp raisins
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

    Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cp water
  • 3/4 cp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Instructions:

    1. Place bread into lightly greased crockpot.
    2. In a bowl, beat eggs and milk.
    3. Add in sugar, butter, raisins and cinnamon.
    4. Pour over bread and mix together.
    5. Cover and cook on high for 1 hr. Reduce to low for 3 to 4 hours.
    6. For sauce: melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add water, sugar, and vanilla. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
