Crock Pot RecipesFresh Tomato Soup
Ingredients:
8 medium tomatoes; skins removed, seeds discarded
1 medium onion; chopped
2 carrots; peeled and thinly sliced
1 garlic clove; crushed
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 cups chicken broth or bouillon
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until vegetables are tender.
- Puree in blender, return to crock pot to heat through.
