Crock Pot RecipesKielbasa Bean Soup
Ingredients:
4 14.5-ounce cans chicken broth
6 ounces dry pinto beans
6 ounces dry split peas
16 ounces low fat sausage; cut in half lengthwise and then sliced
4 medium carrots; chopped
3 medium celery stalks; chopped
1 large onions; chopped
1 tsp thyme
14 1/2 ounces canned diced tomatoes; undrained
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in the crockpot except the tomatoes.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until beans are tender.
- Add tomatoes, heat through and serve.
