Crock Pot RecipesCarrot Soup
Ingredients:
12 carrots; thinly sliced
1 1/2 onions; thinly sliced
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon thyme
4 1/2 tablespoons butter
pepper to taste
12 cups chicken broth
1/2 cups rice
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in the crockpot except butter.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Puree, put mixture back in the crock pot and add butter. Stir.
