Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. stew meat cut into one-inch cubes
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can creamy onion soup
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms; sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion; chopped
  • 1/4 cup burgundy wine

Instructions:

  1. Place cubed meat in the crock pot.
  2. Stir together in a bowl in soups, mushrooms or onion if desired, and wine.
  3. Pour over meat and stir.
  4. Scrape down sides of slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 4 to 5 hours or on low for 8 to 9 hours or until very tender.
  6. Serve over noodles.


Makes 6 servings.
